My journey into photography started in high school when I enrolled in Photography 101 as an elective. I still remember the excitement of stepping into the darkroom, developing film by hand, and watching images slowly come to life. That experience sparked something in me. With the support of my parents, I purchased my very first camera, and from that moment on, photography became so much more than a hobby.

My mom has always been my biggest inspiration. She owned her own wedding and event planning & decorating business. Through her, I was introduced to the wedding industry at an early age and began photographing the beautiful events she created.

As my passion grew, I started photographing family and friends, and before I knew it, Kat Reyes Photography was born. What started with a high school elective has grown into a business dedicated to documenting love through every season of life.

Even before photography became my career, I was simply someone who loved telling stories and connecting with people. Today, that passion is still at the heart of everything I do. I'm here because I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones filled with genuine emotion, authentic connection, and the moments that often go unnoticed. My goal is to create a space where you can simply be yourself while I preserve your story in a timeless and honest way.
